October 2013 Meeting Report

October’s Committee meeting saw the election of the Officers for the 2013/14 Committee. Ms. Barry gave updates on

• the current ASTI dispute and the impact on the upcoming Parent/Teacher meetings
• parental supervision for the Homework Club and school Library
• the Open Morning for incoming 1^st year students on Nov 9^th

Members of the Committee were enlisted to assist with the preparation for ‘Calamity Jane’, and also to join a group, with student and staff representatives, to work on a HSE ‘Healthy School’ initiative.

It was agreed to hold our next meeting on November 19^th to enable those members in both St. Wolstan’s and Salesians Parent Associations to attend.
