October Meeting

The Parent’s Association Committee met on 9^th October. Election of the Executive Committee was as follows:

Secretary:               Trish O’Brien
Treasurer:               Annette O’Dea
Vice Treasurer:      Michelle Begley
 
Matters discussed were:  

• Parking outside school: Gardaí and Kildare C.C. to be consulted.
• Parent Reps on B.O.M.: Trish O’Brien & Assumpta Cunningham retained
• Parents’ Association Constitution: Committee to consult.
• Parents’ Association website: Committee to review.
• National Parents Council Post Primary National Affiliation Programme: deferred pending further information.

Principal’s Report gave dates of forthcoming Retreats, Annual School Mass, 6^th Year Parent/Teacher meeting plus details on Anti-Bullying Week and the Open Morning for incoming students which will take place on 10^th Nov.

A letter of thanks has been sent by the Chairperson, on behalf of the PA, to Celbridge Credit Union for their donation to the school which has gone towards the purchase of new stock for the school library.
